Background
BPI encodes a lipopolysaccharide binding protein. BPI is related to human neutrophil granules and has bactericidal activity on gram-negative organisms.
Description
The native protein BPI is isolated from human buffy coats and has a molecular weight of53kDa.

>70% as determined by SDS-PAGE and capillary electrophoresis.
Endotoxin
<1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Formulation
BPI (1.15mg/ml) is supplied in 25mM Sodium Acetate pH-4.6.
