Background | Synoviolin (SYVN1/HRD1) is a multispanning membrane protein with its C-terminal RING-H2 finger domain located in the cytoplasm. A member of the E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase family that accepts ubiquitin specifically from endoplasmic reticulum-associated UBC7 E2 ligase and transfers it to substrates, acting as a part of the ER-associated degradation (ERAD) system involved in ubiquitin-dependent degradation of misfolded endoplasmic reticulum proteins. |
Description | Recombinant human SYVN1 (HRD1) (226-end) was produced by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells, fused with a GST tag at N-terminus. This protein is purified with our unique purification methods. |
