| Background | Cofilin 1 (non-muscle), also known as CFL1, is a widely distributed intracellular actin-modulating protein that binds and depolymerizes filamentous F-actin and inhibits the polymerization of monomeric G-actin in a pH-dependent manner (1). It is involved in the translocation of actin-cofilin complex from cytoplasm to nucleus (2). CFL1 processed proteins are most probably produced by HIV-1 protease digestion. |
| Description | Recombinant full-length human Cofilin 1 was produced in E. coli system, fused with a His tag at N-terminus. This protein is purified with our unique purification methods. |
