Product Overview
Description | Biotinylated Recombinant Human Fibrinogen-like Protein 1 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Leu23-Ile312 is expressed with a Avi, 6His tag at the C-terminus. |
Accession | Q08830 |
Synonym | Fibrinogen-like protein 1; FGL1; HP-041; Hepassocin; HFREP-1; LFIRE-1 |
Gene Background | Fibrinogen-like protein 1(FGL1) is also known as HP-041, Hepassocin, HFREP-1, LFIRE-1, is a liver-specific secreted protein belonging to the fibronogen superfamily, whose members share a fibrinogen domain at their C-termini. It is secreted by the liver and functions as a mitogen for hepatocytes. Hepassocin may play a role in the development of hepatocellular carcinomas. Hepassocin is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein with a C-terminal fibrinogen domain. It is reported that it is a major immune inhibitory ligand of LAG-3. |

Target Details
Target Function | Immune suppressive molecule that inhibits antigen-specific T-cell activation by acting as a major ligand of LAG3. Responsible for LAG3 T-cell inhibitory function. Binds LAG3 independently from MHC class II (MHC-II). Secreted by, and promotes growth of, hepatocytes. |
Subcellular Location | Secreted. |
