Synonym | CD226 antigen, DNAX accessory molecule 1, DNAM-1, CD226, CD226Molecule, CD226 Antigen, DNAX Accessory Molecule 1, DNAM-1, DNAM1, TLineage-Specific Activation Antigen 1 Antigen, Platelet And T Cell ActivationAntigen 1, DNAX Accessory Molecule-1, Adhesion Glycoprotein, TLiSA1,PTA1. |
Background | CD226 belongs to the Ig-superfamily containing 2 Ig-like domains of the V-set. CD226 is a 65kDa glycoprotein expressed on the surface NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of T cells. CD226 facilitates cellular adhesion of platelets and megakaryocytic cells to vascular endothelial cells. CD226 also plays a role in megakaryocytic cell maturation. |
Description | CD226 Human Recombinant expressed in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 471a.a. (19-247a.a) and having a molecular weight of 53.2kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 50-70kDa).CD226 is fused to a 239a.a. hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus and purified by unique purification methods. |
