Product Overview
Tag | His |
Host Species | Rat |
Accession | NP_620244.1 |
Background | CDH13, also known as cadherin-13 and H Cadherin, is a member of the cadherin superfamily. CDH13 acts as a negative regulator of axon growth during neural differentiation. It also protects vascular endothelial cells from apoptosis due to oxidative stress, and is associated with resistance to atherosclerosis. CDH13 is localized to the surface of the cell membrane and is anchored by a GPI moiety, rather than by a transmembrane domain. CDH13 gene is hypermethylated in many types of cancer. |
Description | A DNA sequence encoding the rat CDH13(NP_620244.1)(Met1-Ala692) was expressed with a His tag at the C-terminus. |
Source | HEK293 |
Predicted N Terminal | Ala 22 |
AA Sequence | Met1-Ala692 |
Molecular Weight | The recombinant rat CDH13 comprises 682 a.a. and predicts a molecular mass of 74.9 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the recombinant protein is approximately 117 and 95 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. |
Purity | (69.0+26.9)% as determined by SDS-PAGE |
