Background Voltage-gated sodium channels are transmembrane glycoprotein complexes composed of a large alpha subunit and one or more regulatory beta subunits. SCN3B is a part of the sodium channel beta subunit gene family whose members are responsible for the generation and propagation of action potentials in neurons and muscle. SCN3B influences the inactivation kinetics of the sodium channel.
Description SCN3B Human Recombinant expressed in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 160a.a. (23-159) and having a molecular weight of 18.1kDa.SCN3B is fused to a 23a.a. His-tag at N-terminus and purified by unique purification methods.
