Host Species Human
Synonym PAP41, Phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate synthase-associated protein 2, PRPP synthase-associated protein 2, 41 kDa phosphoribosypyrophosphate synthetase-associated protein, PRPSAP2.
Background Phosphoribosyl Pyrophosphate Synthetase-Associated Protein 2 (PRPSAP2) is a protein which relates with the enzyme phosphoribosylpyrophosphate synthetase (PRS). PRS catalyzes the formation of phosphoribosylpyrophosphate which is a substrate for synthesis of purine, pyrimidine, histidine, tryptophan and NAD. PRS is a complex with 2 catalytic subunits and 2 associated subunits. PRPSAP2 encodes a non-catalytic associated subunit of PRS.
Description PRPSAP2 Human Recombinant expressed in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 392a.a. (1-369) and having a molecular weight of 43.3kDa. PRPSAP2 is fused to a 23a.a. His-tag at N-terminus and purified by unique purification methods.
