Background	Protein-c Receptor (PROCR) is a receptor for activated protein C, a serine protease activated by and involved in the blood coagulation pathway. The PROCR protein is an N-glycosylated type I membrane protein which enhances the activation of protein C. PROCR gene mutations are linked with venous thromboembolism and myocardial infarction, as well as with late fetal loss during pregnancy. In addition, PROCR may have a role in malarial infection and has been linked with cancer.
Description	PROCR Human Recombinant expressed in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 435a.a. (18-210a.a.) and having a molecular weight of 49.3kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 40-57kDa). PROCR is expressed with a 242a.a. hIgG-His tag at C-Terminus and purified by unique purification methods.
