Product Overview
Tag | His |
Host Species | Human |
Accession | Q15166 |
Background | PON3 was enriched in the mitochondria-associated membrane fraction of hepatocytes. PON3 deficiency resulted in impaired mitochondrial respiration, increased mitochondrial superoxide levels, and increased hepatic expression of inflammatory genes. PON3 deficiency did not influence atherosclerosis development on an apolipoprotein E null hyperlipidemic background, but it did lead to a significant 6% increase in atherosclerotic lesion size in Pon3KO mice on the C57BL/6J background when fed a cholate-cholesterol diet. |
Description | A DNA sequence encoding the human PON3 (Q15166-1) (Met 1-Leu 354) (50 Ser/Asn) was expressed, with a His tag at the N-terminus. |
Source | Baculovirus-Insect Cells |
Predicted N Terminal | Met |
AA Sequence | Met 1-Leu 354 |
Molecular Weight | The recombinant human PON3 consists of 373 a.a. and predicts a molecular mass of 42 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 45 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. |
Purity | >85% as determined by SDS-PAGE |
Endotoxin | < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method |
Bioactivity | Please contact us for detailed information |
Formulation | Lyophilized from sterile 20mM Tris, 500mM NaCl, pH 8.0, 1mM CaCL2, 10% gly, 0.1% DDM. |
Stability | The recombinant proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70°C. |
Usage | For Research Use Only |
Storage | Store the protein under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
