Recombinant Human IMPA1 Protein (His Tag)

Beta LifeScience SKU/CAT #: BLPSN-2961
Catalog No.: BLPSN-2961

Product Overview

Tag His
Host Species Human
Accession P29218
Synonym IMP, IMPA
Background The IMPA1 gene product is responsible for the final step of biotransformation of inositol triphosphate and diacylglycerol, two second messengers. Despite its many physiological functions, no clinical phenotype has been assigned to this gene dysfunction to date. Additionally, IMPA1 is the main target of lithium, a drug that is at the forefront of treatment for bipolar disorder.
Description A DNA sequence encoding the human IMPA1 (P29218-1) (Met1-Asp277) was expressed with a His tag at the N-terminus.
Source E.coli
Predicted N Terminal His
AA Sequence Met1-Asp277
Molecular Weight The recombinant human IMPA1 consists of 295 a.a. and predicts a molecular mass of 32.4 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 32 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Purity >85% as determined by SDS-PAGE
