Recombinant Human FIS1 Protein
Beta LifeScience
SKU/CAT #: BL-3818PS
Catalog No.: BL-3818PS
Product Overview
Tag | His |
Host Species | Human |
Synonym | TTC11, Tetratricopeptide repeat domain 11, Fission 1 (mitochondrial outer membrane) homolog (S. cerevisiae). |
Background | FIS1 is part of the mitochondrial complex that promotes mitochondrial fission. FIS1 induces cytochrome C discharge from the mitochondrion to the cytosol, eventually leading to apoptosis. FIS1 participates in peroxisomal growth and division. The C terminus is required for mitochondrial localisation, while the N teminus is necessary for mitochondrial fission. |
Description | FIS1 Human Recombinant expressed in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated,polypeptide chain containing 142a.a.(1-122 a.a.) and having a molecular weight of 16.3 kDa. FIS1 protein is fused to a 20a.a. His tag at N-terminus and is purified by standard chromatography. |
