Product Overview

Tag His
Host Species Human
Accession Q9UPY8
Synonym EB3, EBF3, EBF3-S, RP3
Background MAPRE3, also known as EB3, is a member of the RP/EB family. MAPRE3 localizes to the cytoplasmic microtubule network and binds APCL. MAPRE3 regulates the dynamics of the microtubule cytoskeleton. It also promotes microtubule growth. MAPRE3 may be involved in spindle function by stabilizing microtubules and anchoring them at centrosomes. MAPRE3 may also play a role in cell migration.
Description A DNA sequence encoding the human MAPRE3 (Q9UPY8-1) (Met1-Tyr281) was expressed with a His tag at the N-terminus.
Source E.coli
Predicted N Terminal His
AA Sequence Met1-Tyr281
Molecular Weight The recombinant human MAPRE3 consists of 296 a.a. and predicts a molecular mass of 33.8 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 34 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Purity >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
