Product Overview
Tag | N/A |
Host Species | Human |
Synonym | BEX2, HBEX2, HGR74-h, Protein BEX1, Brain-expressed X-linked protein 1. |
Background | Brain Expressed X-Linked 1 (BEX1) which participates in cell cycle progression and neuronal differentiation, is a signaling adapter molecule involved in p75NTR/NGFR signaling. BEX1 inhibits neuronal differentiation in response to nerve growth factor. BEX1 links between the cell cycle and neurotrophic factor signaling by acting as an upstream modulator of receptor signaling, adjusting biological responses to external signals with internal cellular states. |
Description | BEX1 Human Recombinant expressed in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 148a.a. (1-125) and having a molecular weight of 17.2kDa. BEX1 is fused to a 23a.a. His-tag at N-terminus and purified by unique purification methods. |
